- Designed iOS app that connects to a raspberry pi over Bluetooth and walks the user through adding the device to their local network
- Added SSH functionality in iOS app to communicate with the raspberry pi and simplify configuration of smart home controllers to work using Siri and Alexa
- Built custom JavaScript accessories running on NodeJS server to connect existing smart home appliances to Siri

- Designed and validated portions of GiSat-1 payload and beam layout to maximize the coverage and performance over target market of 33 African countries

- Developed ECS pulse algorithm using C++ and Matlab to detect fly height above HD disks, improving takt time of self-servo write process by ~50%, and allowing for ability to filter by specific frequency.
- Reduced wait-time of timing measurement algorithm by ~33% by starting detection algorithm off of any sector, rather than waiting for specific sectors, using C++ and Matlab.
- Wrote Matlab script to post-process data, and optimize TFC parameters for better detection of touchdowns, resulting in ~15% reduction in early and late detections.
- Functioned as team lead for fly height product, delegating tasks to 3 engineers, and working closely with Japan office to optimize and improve touchdown parameters by analyzing data using Matlab.

- Engineered server traffic simulator using C and Java to generate 5,000+ packets/second to test throughput.
- Used Wireshark to monitor traffic of 5 servers to locate the threshold of packet loss in TCP or UDP mode.

AnyCoin | iOS and Android Engineer 2014
Digital wallet incorporating various cryptocurrencies into a single mobile platform, built natively on iOS and Android.
- Implemented PayPal, Venmo, Stripe, Coinbase, and Blockchain APIs to create a single interface, resulting in 2000+ downloads, and used SHA-256 encryption algorithm to protect user data.
- Converted between JSON, HTTP, and Hash Tables for seamless data integration across 5 payment platforms. Integrated Facebook SDK with QR codes to allow for transfer of funds among user contact lists.
- Stored transaction data on AWS DynamoDB server with use of CoreLocation for ad specific targeting.
FaceShow | iOS and OSX Engineer 2012
Slideshow creation tool using Facebook image albums for users to add stickers, filters, and effects to their photographs.
- Constructed seamless slideshow functionality of selected albums using Facebook SDK, XCode (Objective-C), and image processing algorithms, resulting in 800+ downloads on the App Store.
