Rather then waiting for Legrand Vantage to update their system to work with homekit, I decided to hack around with the already available devices to make it so. Using a raspberry pi configured as a homekit bridge and adding a shim to translate homekit responses to TCP/IP commands over to the vantage controller, I was able to make my log cabin fully siri ready. From there it was just a matter of getting an apple tv to act as a homekit hub to allow the cabin to be voice controlled from anywhere. With voice controls for all the lights and thermostats, I can now have siri warm up the house just in time to enter a warm home in the snow after a long drive.
